1. Jimin and Jungkook's Joint Enlistment:

BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are enlisting in the active-duty army together on the 12th. With this, all seven members of BTS are fulfilling their mandatory military service.

2. Commencement of Military Service and Expected Discharge Dates:

Jimin and Jungkook are entering the military at the Army Division Training Center, starting their military service. Their expected discharge date is set for June 2025, and BTS plans to resume group activities thereafter.

3. Military Service Status of Previous Members:

Other BTS members have already commenced or are currently undergoing military service. Eldest member Jin has completed one year of service and recently received a promotion to sergeant. RM, V, and J-Hope began their military service earlier, while Suga is currently serving as a social service worker.

4. Members' Thoughts and Messages to Fans:

RM shared his thoughts through the Weverse platform the day before, expressing, "I've been so happy to live as part of BTS for the past 10 years." He conveyed his belief that this period would be unfamiliar to all of them, serving as a time of new inspiration and learning.

He bid a temporary farewell, saying, "For a while, goodbye," and extended greetings by saying, "Let's meet again anytime, anywhere, as ourselves! See you in the future."

On the same day, just before his enlistment, V also used Weverse in the morning. He expressed the difficulty of not being able to see the ARMY (BTS fandom), saying, "Not being able to see ARMY is the most challenging." Despite the long 18-month period ahead, he assured fans, "I'll come back much healthier, so ARMY, take care of your health and find happiness every day. If you're looking for me, I'll appear with a 'Ta-da! I'm here!'"

V revealed, "I've prepared various things during those 18 months. Look forward to it," and concluded with, "Let's come back with precious memories and create new ones, just like we always have."
